We worked with ABDO (Association Of British Dispensing Opticians) - ABDO currently represents approximately 6,000 qualified dispensing opticians in the United Kingdom, it also has 700 members overseas, 600 associate members and approximately 2,000 student members worldwide.
Objectives:
To commission a survey to find out parent’s attitudes and knowledge when it comes to their children’s eye health.
To communicate the fact that under 7's can get eye care – “Kids don’t need to be able to read to have an eye test. To promote the role of the Registered Dispensing Optician – children must have spectacles dispensed by a registered practitioner – and to direct people to EyecareFAQ as a source of independent eye care information. |
